European Limnofauna Limnofauna is based on the ETI CD-ROM European Limnofauna (Visser and Veldhuijzen van Zanten, 2000). This project is an introduction to the families of macroscopic freshwater invertebrates, offering descriptions and a picture-based identification key. Apart from taxonomic descriptions, this database also offers notes on ecology and distribution, about 2000 drawings and colour pictures and 24 movies
