Ross Archive of African Images (RAAI)

The Ross Archive of African Images is a comprehensive database of over 7,000 images. RAAI aspires to reproduce all the illustrations of figurative African objects published between 1800 and 1920 in books, periodicals, catalogues, newspapers, and other publications. It does not include postcards or pamphlets of very limited distribution. More than 95% of the material here is contained in the James J. Ross library, the remainder has been recorded from copies in other libraries

Eurobarometer 67.1: Cultural Values, Poverty and Social Exclusion, Developmental Aid, and Residential Mobility, February-March 2007

This round of Eurobarometer surveys diverged from the Standard Eurobarometer measures and queried respondents on the following topics: (1) cultural values, (2) poverty and social exclusion, (3) developmental aid, and (4) residential mobility. For the first major focus, cultural values, the survey asked respondents questions pertaining to the meaning and importance of culture, their interest and participation in cultural activities, and their national identity.

International Social Science Program: Role of Government, 1985-1986

This study is designed to supplement regular, national, social science surveys in the following countries: West Germany, Great Britain, United States, Italy, Austria, and Australia. The data report citizens' opinions on the functions of their national governments and on what governments should and should not be doing.

Center for Research on Social Reality [Spain] Survey, February 1995: Culture and Leisure

This data collection is part of a series of nationwide surveys conducted from October 1990 to June 1996 in Spain. The questionnaires for each of these surveys consisted of three sections. The first section collected information on respondents' attitudes regarding personal, national, and international issues, and included questions on respondents' level of life satisfaction and frequency of visits with relatives, neighbors, and friends. The second section contained a topical module of questions that varied from survey to survey, with this survey's topic focusing on culture and leisure.
