This poll, fielded April 25-29, 2008, is a part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that solicit public opinion on the presidency and on a range of other political and social issues. Opinions were sought on how well George W. Bush was handling the presidency, the economy, and the situation with Iraq. Views were sought on the Republican party, the Democratic party, how well Congress was handling it's job, the condition of the national economy, and whether the economy was getting better or worse.

This poll, fielded July 18-21, 2007, is part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that solicit public opinion on the current presidency and on a range of other political and social issues. This poll included an oversample of African American respondents. Respondents were asked whether they approved of the way George W. Bush was handling the presidency and issues such as ethics in government and whether they approved of the way the Vice President Dick Cheney and the United States Congress were handling their jobs.

This poll, fielded February 8-11, 2007, is a part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that solicits public opinion on the presidency and on a range of other political and social issues. Respondents were asked for their opinions of George W. Bush and his handling of the presidency and other issues such as foreign policy, the condition of the national economy, what was the most important problem facing the country, and whether they approved of the way the United States Congress was handling its job.

This data collection is part of the 1985 Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals (CSFII) and provides information on 1-day dietary intakes of men 19 to 50 years of age living in the United States in 1985. Two separate population groups of men were surveyed: (1) a sample of men of all incomes drawn from all private households, and (2) a smaller sample of men drawn from households with reported incomes at or below 130 percent of the poverty guidelines.

This round of Eurobarometer surveys queried respondents on standard Eurobarometer measures, such as how satisfied they were with their present life, whether they attempted to persuade others close to them to share their views on subjects they held strong opinions about, whether they discussed political matters, what their expectations were for the next 12 months, and how they viewed the need for societal change.

In August 2004, Texas implemented the Texas Public School Nutrition Policy in order to promote healthier nutrition in its schools. The new policy restricted high fat and high sugar foods, reduced portion sizes, and phased out "deep-fat fried" foods in school food service environments. This study evaluated the impact of that policy by comparing National School Lunch Program (NSLP) production records and school snack bar/a la carte line sales data before and after the policy was implemented.

The purpose of this project was to measure and estimate the distribution of income in both rural and urban areas of the People's Republic of China. The principal investigators based their definition of income on cash payments and on a broad range of additional components: payments in kind valued at market prices, agricultural output produced for self-consumption valued at market prices, the value of ration coupons and other direct subsidies, and the imputed value of housing.

This collection presents a historical survey of the price and quantity of wheat produced in different localities in France. The purpose of the study was to examine price trends of a major food commodity within an important agricultural market in Western Europe and, in particular, to measure the correlation between wheat price fluctuations and demographic fluctuations in France. Prices and quantities of wheat were recorded, either fortnightly or monthly, by local officials in the major wheat-growing areas and subsequently relayed to higher levels of the French government.

This survey concerned respondents' knowledge and opinions about cholesterol. Respondents were asked if they had ever heard about cholesterol, if they knew how cholesterol was formed, if they knew their own cholesterol levels, if certain foods were good choices for reducing cholesterol, and if experts recommended an immediate cholesterol test or suggested waiting until the next routine visit to the doctor.
